Green Gateway together with Walls Alive have completed Western Australia’s largest living wall at 30m2 for Project Neon in Balcatta WA.
Green Gateway was responsible for the design and plants choice, plus some good old hard yakka
Walls Alive provided the wall modules, hard yakka and plenty of laughs and Amazon Soils created the bio char growing medium.
The design incorporated a mixture of exotics and predominantly Australian Native plants. We will observe and monitor over time how each different plant species develops performs in the specialised growing medium and in the Walls Alive green wall modules. We will also monitor the thermal performance of the building, water use and energy savings.

Green Gateway recently completed a beautiful feature wall with a pond in a court yard of a Yallingup residence. The plant selection in the wall has been designed to withstand the harsh coastal winds and salt air. The irrigation has been designed with spray and drip irrigation to wash the foliage.
